New Skanda Vale Temple
in Switzerland
Between the 23rd and 26th
September, we'll be sanctifying the foundations of a Swiss mountain
Shiva Shakti Temple with a yagam ceremony. All are welcome to attend
this special celebration and take part in the seminar.
Please click here for an
application form.
Coach bookings
Unfortunately we are unable
to take any coach bookings between Thursday 23rd and Sunday
26th of September.
It is
essential that coach groups contact the Temple at least one month
prior to organising their
pilgrimage. If you organise your pilgrimage before contacting
us, then YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COME TO SKANDA VALE, as we do
not have the facilities to cope with extra bookings.
Families with young children and babies
Unfortunately we're unable to give
young families transport up the hill to the Shakti Temple. The
minibus is for elderly and disabled only. Please make sure you
bring sensible outdoor footwear and waterproofs for all your family,
as it rains most days here in Wales.
Discourses
available to download
This summer there will
be a series of discourses, delivered to help inspire our pilgrims to
build a partnership with the Divine in their everyday lives. The
discourses will be given on Sundays during the lunchtime Murugan Mahabishekam,
and are
available here to download as pdfs:

discourse 04.07.10.pdf

Go bananas
for the Hospice
Swami Govinda, his
sister and a big bunch of friends took part in the London 10k Run on
Sunday July 11th, to raise funds for our Hospice! It's not too late
to sponsor them -

Approved
local accommodation list
Get the most out of
your pilgrimage by staying overnight at Skanda Vale. During the busy summer months,
you may need to book up to four weeks in advance, as we can get very
busy. If we are full,
then please
download our list of approved local hotels and b&b's - there
are some great places just a few minutes away.
Newsletters
The Community and
Hospice Newsletters for 2010 are both now available to
