Get re-energised and focussed at Skanda Vale in Llanpumsaint, Carmarthen, UK. Immerse yourself in four days of bhakti yoga, karma yoga and satsang. Open to families and individuals, it’s a chance to embrace the transformative power of authentic spiritual practices in a friendly, peaceful setting.

  • Arrive at Skanda Vale for a welcome at 8pm on Monday, 27th May 2024.
  • Depart at 9pm on Friday 31st May 2024.
Daily program:
This daily program gives an outline of what to expect, actual activities may differ slightly, depending on group dynamics and weather etc.
  • 05:00 – 06:00  Lord Murugan Puja
  • 06:30 – 07:30  Maha Shakti Puja (optional)
  • 08:00 – 08:30  Breakfast
  • 10:00 – 13:00  Satsang (spiritual talks / question and answer)
  • 13:30 – 14:00  Lord Murugan Puja
  • 14:00 – 14:30  Lunch
  • 15:00 – 17:30  Karma Yoga / Seva
  • 18:00 – 19:00  Maha Shakti Puja (optional)
  • 19:30 – 20:30  Supper / sports / games
  • 21:00 – 21:30  Lord Murugan Puja
  • Free accommodation is available in Skanda Vale for the duration of the retreat.
  • Ensuite accommodation is available to elders, those with mobility issues, or families with young children.
  • Accommodation is in high demand, so you may need to share a room with other devotees of the same gender.
  • Blessed vegetarian food, or prasadam, is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day.
Please note:
  • If you’d like to come, you must be sure you can attend the full retreat because it disrupts the group dynamic if people arrive late or leave early.
  • Parents remain responsible for their children. We have activities available for young people but we can’t offer a childcare service.
